July 2024: Proposed UDC and City-Wide Rezoning Approval

CITY COUNCIL DECISION

Dickinson City Council voted to Approve the Proposed adoption of the Dickinson, TX, Unified Development Code (UDC), the repeal of the current City of Dickinson Zoning Map, and the adoption of a new zoning map utilizing the zoning districts in the UDC on the 23RD of JULY 2024. 

The UDC will go into effect on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

REQUEST

Proposed adoption of the Dickinson, TX, Unified Development Code (UDC), the repeal of the current City of Dickinson Zoning Map, and the adoption of a new zoning map utilizing the zoning districts in the UDC.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

Public hearings are held for the purpose of giving all interested persons the right to speak and be heard. If you would like to speak at one of the scheduled public hearings, sign the appropriate list in the foyer prior to the posted time of the meeting. Each speaker shall give his/her name and address in order to provide a proper record of this hearing. The rules allow each speaker three (3) minutes to present information.
